Temporary Roads and Work Platforms for the Construction of the 400 kV Kozienice-Miłosna Line
The construction of the 400 kV high-voltage line Kozienice-Miłosna is one of the key energy investments in Poland, aimed at improving the stability and reliability of the national power system. This strategic project will provide better connectivity between the power plant in Kozienice and the transmission network in central Poland.
Due to the extensive construction area and the need to ensure stable access to assembly sites, our company comprehensively implemented access roads, work platforms, and maneuvering areas for many months. As part of this investment, we installed and dismantled over 260,000 m² of temporary surfaces, equivalent to approximately 60 km of technological roads. Additionally, we built over 2 km of road through wetlands, traversed by, among others, a 90-ton pile driver.
Logistical Challenges in the Construction of the 400 kV Kozienice-Miłosna Line
The construction of a transmission line spanning several tens of kilometers required precise planning of road infrastructure to enable the transport and assembly of massive support structures. Key challenges included:
