Sometimes, a project we’re particularly proud of isn’t about a wind farm or a gas pipeline, but something completely different. The entire sanah TOUR ON STADIUMS—one of the biggest music events in Poland—is in our hands. We are responsible for securing the flooring at each concert on the tour. The first event, in Gdańsk, is already behind us: nearly 9,000 m² of surface covered with Alu Deck panels. Below, you can watch a video with a highlight reel from the project.
Why securing the ground at a stadium concert matters
A concert in a stadium is not only about the stage and sound system. It involves dozens of tons of technical equipment, hundreds of service vehicles, thousands of meters of cables, and structures—everything being brought in and removed over the course of just a few days. The stadium pitch, the surface of the arena floor, and the communication walkways are exposed to loads that, under normal operating conditions, they would never experience.
Without proper protection, the outcome is predictable: damaged grass, scuffed or broken surfaces, and repair costs that the organizer has to cover after the event. Modular panels laid before the show protect the ground and, after dismantling, leave no trace.
Alu Deck panels – a solution for large events
To secure sanah’s route, we chose Alu Deck panels. These are aluminum boards with high load capacity and low self-weight—features that are crucial for events of this scale. They can be installed without heavy equipment, and thanks to their modular design, you can quickly cover a large area and just as quickly dismantle it after the event ends.
Aluminium is resistant to corrosion and changing weather conditions, which is practically important for outdoor events – the panels work just as well in the sun as they do during rain. The surface provides a stable, slip-resistant flooring for both service vehicles and pedestrians.
Organizing on time – logistics in just a few days
Organizing events of this scale is not only a matter of equipment. It’s logistics, coordination, and cooperation with dozens of suppliers at the same time. Each of them has its own schedule, its own time windows for entry and exit. Preparing the ground has to be completed before the first truck with equipment arrives – and dismantled before the stadium returns to normal use.
For sanah’s tour, this means repeating the process multiple times in different cities, each time under different terrain conditions and with a different spatial layout of the venue. Such projects require flexibility and efficient on-site operations – not only good equipment.
More cities ahead
Gdańsk is behind us. Ahead are Wrocław, Białystok, Kraków, and the final concert at PGE Narodowy in Warsaw. At each of these venues, we’ll be responsible for securing the ground – just like at the first event on the tour.
