48 hours. That was enough time to deliver and install 2,000 m² of road panels from the client’s phone to the finished job for service works at a wind farm in Greater Poland. When time matters, experience and efficient logistics are what count.
When every hour of downtime is a loss
Wind turbine service is an operation that requires precision and speed. Turbine downtime means no energy production, and therefore financial losses for the farm owner. That’s why the client needed not only a stable base for heavy service equipment, but above all—rapid execution.
The challenge was to prepare a technology yard with an area of 2,000 m² that could withstand the loads of cranes, work platforms, and service vehicles. The solution turned out to be road panels—the only ones that can be installed at express speed without the need for concrete pouring or laying asphalt.
48 hours from the decision to the finished job
After speaking with the client and agreeing on the details, we immediately began preparations. Transport of the aluminum and steel panels set off the same day—our experience with projects at wind farms allows us to plan logistics efficiently even for large areas.
The next installation team started work. We used a combination of Alu Deck HD aluminum panels and steel road panels—a solution that ensures stability and load capacity for every type of equipment. Within one day, everything was ready, and the client could begin the service work.
Why use road slabs instead of the traditional approach?
Wind farms are often located in areas that are difficult to access, far from paved roads. Building a permanent concrete or asphalt access road involves cost, time, and interference with the site—after the service is completed, the area must be restored to its original condition.
Renting road slabs eliminates these problems:
- Installation within 1–2 days
- Full load capacity immediately after laying
- Disassembly after work is completed and restoration of the site to its original condition
- Opportunity to reuse the slabs for subsequent projects
Wind farms – the specifics of technological access roads
Servicing wind turbines requires access for heavy equipment—cranes, platforms, and transport vehicles. Technological access roads at wind farms must meet several key requirements:
- Load capacity – the slabs can handle loads of even several dozen tons
- Installation speed – turbine downtime means losses, so the timeline is crucial
- Flexibility – after the work is finished, the slabs are dismantled and the site returns to its original condition
Thanks to our experience with projects at wind farms, we can quickly assess the client’s needs, select the right solution, and carry out the installation in record time.
Lightning-fast delivery – made possible by experience
2000 m² in 48 hours is not a coincidence. It’s the result of years of practice, efficient logistics, and a deep understanding of the specifics of energy facilities. We know that in such situations it matters not only that the work is done well, but above all the time—and that’s exactly what we offer our clients.
Do you need quick access to a wind farm or another energy project? Call us—we’ll assess the situation and propose a solution tailored to your needs.
